About Us

Hi, my name is Sara. I am 26 and have my associates degree in Surgical Technology. I worked in the field for 2 years before running into some health issues. I made the hard decision to leave the field and then I found myself looking for my next step. My mom and I were already doing therapy visits out in the community and we decided to expand our outreach to the community. Our goal is to spread happiness through the joy of animals, focusing on building relationships with our equine friends. Here at Thee Lazy Acre we have 2 qualified therapy teams that spread joy in the community. We are currently working on getting our second mini ready to go so we can do more visits this fall. I am also currently working at an assent based applied behavior analysis clinic. This has given me a better understanding of meeting the needs of the individual and how to go about doing that. The animals and I look forward to meeting you out at the barn or during our community visits!
